Most nuts and grains can last long times without refrigeration, but one of the few exceptions include anything containing wheat germ or certain oils that could go rancid. Just make sure you read the packaging or google the shelf life before you buy it.
An all-around food for convenience, health, and satisfaction, you can’t go wrong with beans. Canned beans will last almost forever, and they’re ready to heat and eat at a moment’s notice. Also, beans are full of protein and heart-healthy fiber.
